Adult Support Worker – Day Shift (Winsford)

About the role

Join a dedicated team supporting adults with autism in a 4‑bed residential home in Winsford. You will help residents develop independence and enjoy a positive, inclusive community while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day personal care and assistance with daily living tasks.
• Facilitate social activities and skill‑development sessions to promote independence.
• Implement and follow individualised support plans, monitoring progress and reporting changes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure a safe, positive environment.
• Attend training sessions and keep up‑to‑date with best practices in autism support.

Required profile

• A caring, patient, and reliable attitude with genuine interest in supporting adults with autism.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for accurate record‑keeping.
• Willingness to learn, attend training, and develop professionally.
