Adults Advanced Practitioner – MASH (Front‑door Service)

About the role

The Adults Advanced Practitioner will join Oldham Council's Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team, providing front‑door support for vulnerable adults. This full‑time, temporary position involves coordinating safeguarding actions and leading complex multi‑disciplinary meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Work within the Adult MASH front‑door service, responding to referrals and safeguarding concerns.
• Chair safeguarding meetings and complex multi‑disciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
• Provide leadership and day‑to‑day management of staff in a busy front‑door environment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant qualifications and standards, including JDPS requirements.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver coordinated safeguarding outcomes.

Required profile

• Experience in a front‑door service such as Adult MASH or a Duty Team.
• Proven ability to chair safeguarding and complex MDT meetings.
• Strong background in Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub services.
• Experience managing staff within a high‑pressure front‑door setting.
• Relevant qualifications in line with the Joint Director of Public Services (JDPS) framework.
