About the role
The Advanced Practitioner will lead a Disabilities and Additional Needs team in Rochdale, providing professional guidance to social workers and practitioners. You will work closely with families, partners and communities to create strengths‑based solutions that enable children and young people to thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Provide leadership, support and guidance to social workers and practitioners.
- Ensure high‑quality assessments and interventions for children and young people with disabilities.
- Collaborate with families, external partners and community organisations to develop creative, strengths‑based solutions.
- Maintain compliance with Social Work England standards and organisational policies.
Required profile
- Experience as an Advanced Practitioner or Senior Social Worker within a Disabilities team.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Degree in Social Work.
Required skills
What we offer
- £40 per hour (Umbrella), 37 hours per week.
- Fixed‑term contract – minimum 3 months.
- Free DBS check.
- £250 referral bonus and £250 find‑your‑own‑job bonus.
