Advanced Practitioner – Eating Disorder Dietitian

About the role

Day Webster is recruiting a Band 7 Advanced Practitioner Dietitian with specialist experience in CAMHS and eating disorders. The role is based in the Darwin Centre, providing a highly specialised dietetic service to children and young people receiving inpatient treatment for eating disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialist dietetic care to CYP with eating disorders in a Tier 4 inpatient setting.
• Act as the clinical lead for dietetic management of eating disorders within the Darwin Centre.
• Provide expert advice to medical, therapy, and allied health staff, as well as external agencies and GPs.
• Recommend and oversee the purchase of supplements, ward food, and equipment within the allocated budget.
• Supervise and train clinical staff and students on dietetic practice related to eating disorders.

Required profile

• Current registration with the HCPC.
• Relevant NHS experience within CAMHS.
• Demonstrated experience working with eating‑disorder patients.

Required skills

• Clinical dietetic expertise in eating‑disorder management.
• Knowledge of CAMHS pathways and multidisciplinary teamwork.
