Advanced Technical Trainer – Agricultural Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an Advanced Technical Trainer to deliver high‑quality apprenticeship training in Agricultural Engineering for our clients in Cheshire. The role combines classroom instruction, hands‑on practical sessions and on‑site assessments to develop the next generation of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver apprenticeship training programmes that meet industry standards and curriculum requirements.
• Facilitate theory and practical sessions, ensuring learners gain both technical knowledge and hands‑on experience.
• Conduct vocational assessments on‑site and off‑site, providing clear feedback and progression reports.
• Collaborate with fellow trainers and technical staff to share best practices and continuously improve delivery.
• Maintain health, safety and compliance standards throughout all training activities.

Required profile

• Proven industry experience in Agricultural Engineering.
• Strong teaching, training or mentoring ability; teaching qualifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for innovation and inspiring learners.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline.

Required skills

• Knowledge of agricultural engineering equipment and processes.
