Aerospace Design Integrator

About the role

Airbus is looking for an experienced Design Integrator to join the Wing Plant Engineering team in Broughton. The role sits at the interface between engineering and operations, driving continuous product development and incremental improvements across wide‑body aircraft programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering improvement projects through Airbus’s improvement process.
• Act as the primary liaison between Engineering and Operations, ensuring co‑design solutions are practical and effective.
• Support technical design investigations and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage development and implementation of design improvements with operational teams and engineering partners.
• Oversee project delivery to meet time, budget and quality targets.
• Reduce recurring and non‑recurring costs, operational disruption and non‑conformances.
• Provide regular stakeholder updates and adjust project plans as needed.
• Promote collaboration across Manufacturing Engineering and other business areas.

Required profile

• Proven experience in engineering project coordination within an aerospace or similar high‑tech environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work on multiple priorities in a complex, fast‑paced setting.
• Security clearance BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security).
