Aerospace Production Operative

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Aerospace Production Operative to join our busy Production team at Percival Aviation in Fareham, Hampshire. You will work with electronic files from the Design team to operate our state‑of‑the‑art fabric and leather CNC cutting machine and UV printer, producing high‑quality aerospace components.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings, electronic files and production orders to cut, print and kit aerospace materials.
• Operate CNC cutting machinery, UV printing equipment and associated tools safely and efficiently.
• Cut, prepare and assemble foam, fabric, leather and composite materials to required standards.
• Perform basic machine checks, routine maintenance and maintain a tidy work area.
• Collaborate with Design, Production and Quality teams to meet schedules and customer requirements.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for efficiency, safety and quality improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used, processes completed and work carried out.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably aerospace or another regulated industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem‑solving skills.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting.
• Proactive, reliable communication style.
