After School Provision Manager – Primary School

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic After School Provision Manager to lead the after‑school club at a welcoming primary school in St. Albans. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a safe, engaging and inclusive environment for children once the school day ends.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the after‑school provision.
• Lead, support and develop a small team of staff members.
• Plan and deliver fun, inclusive activities that meet the interests of primary‑aged children.
• Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare and health & safety.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and school staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with primary‑aged children.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a childcare setting.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Passion for high‑quality childcare provision.
