Aftersales Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Aftersales Account Manager to support customers of a leading plant machinery manufacturer across the Bristol region. You will combine your technical knowledge of heavy plant, construction or agricultural equipment with a customer‑focused approach to grow the aftersales business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers in the region.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to increase service, parts and maintenance sales.
• Carry out machine inspections and produce tailored quotations.
• Promote service agreements, warranty options and digital support solutions.
• Deliver new machine handovers and provide equipment familiarisation.
• Maintain accurate records of customer activity, sales performance and pipeline opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover new business.
• Collaborate closely with service and parts teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Account Manager or customer‑facing field sales role.
• Background in construction equipment, plant, agricultural machinery or a similar engineering sector.
• Strong relationship‑building and business development abilities.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to spot sales opportunities.
• Good IT skills and confidence using CRM or business systems.
• Excellent organisation, communication and time‑management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
