Aftersales Manager

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Aftersales Manager to lead a high‑performing service department within a progressive automotive business. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving commercial performance, and shaping the future success of the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the Service Department, ensuring high service quality and operational efficiency.
• Drive workshop productivity, utilisation and profitability through effective performance management.
• Inspire, coach and develop technicians, service advisors, parts professionals and support staff.
• Maintain outstanding customer satisfaction while upholding quality and professionalism standards.
• Monitor and manage departmental financial performance, budgets and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, company policies and industry regulations.
• Foster an inclusive, high‑performing work environment that encourages engagement and growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager, Service Manager or senior aftersales leader.
• Strong operational expertise in a busy automotive service environment.
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing large, multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent commercial awareness and ability to drive profitability.

Required skills

What we offer

• Basic salary up to £55,000 DOE, OTE up to £75,000 plus company car.
