Agency Social Worker – Court Team (Children in Care)

About the role
Randstad Care is seeking an experienced Agency Social Worker to join the Children in Our Care (Court Team) in Blackburn with Darwen. The role focuses on managing care proceedings and court work, ensuring cases progress efficiently through the judicial system.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children in care through court proceedings.
- Prepare and present case information to courts, meeting all statutory timescales.
- Collaborate with local authority teams and external partners to safeguard children.
- Provide post‑proceeding support for children who remain looked after.
Required profile
- Minimum three years post‑qualification experience in social work.
- Strong background in care proceedings, court work, and long‑term safeguarding.
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Required skills
- Experience using Liquidlogic Children’s System (LCS) – desirable.
