Agile Project Manager – Energy Market Transformation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to support a major energy market transformation programme for a leading UK energy organisation. The role works across multiple Agile delivery teams, coordinating technology and business change initiatives to deliver value quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of Agile workstreams within a complex transformation programme.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans, RAID logs, milestones and regular reporting.
• Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues, dependencies and blockers.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Product, Business Analysis, Engineering, Testing and Business Change.
• Track delivery progress against programme objectives and milestones.
• Prioritise work with stakeholders, manage scope and support successful releases.
• Produce governance updates and communicate progress to senior stakeholders.
• Support implementation, business readiness and transition into BAU.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex technology or business transformation programmes.
• Experience within the UK energy market, preferably in electricity markets, market reform, settlement, flexibility services or regulatory change.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban or SAFe).
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience managing delivery risks, dependencies, budgets and third‑party suppliers.
