Agricultural Service Technician

About the role

The Agricultural Service Technician will service and repair a range of agricultural and turf machinery, primarily John Deere equipment, for customers across the South of England. You will diagnose faults, prepare accurate repair quotes and ensure equipment is returned to optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Service and repair agricultural/turf machinery from multiple manufacturers, mainly John Deere.
• Diagnose faults and provide accurate information for repair quotations.
• Complete all required paperwork for each work assignment.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on‑site when required.
• Carry out pre‑delivery setup on new or used equipment.
• Maintain a clean workstation and ensure correct use of tools and vehicles.
• Participate in mandatory service training and certification programmes.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Required profile

• Proactive, forward‑thinking individual with a hands‑on approach.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing agricultural or similar machinery.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Willingness to learn new skills and obtain certifications.
