Agriculture and Rural Network Claims Technician

About the role

Sedgwick is hiring an Agriculture and Rural Network (ARN) Claims Technician in Shrewsbury. As a member of the ARN team, you will manage claims from initial report through to settlement, taking ownership of each claim and working with suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders to find the best outcome for the customer. The role uses advanced digital tools, including video technology, to assess properties remotely and collaborate with suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for customers and suppliers
• Manage claims and related information
• Oversee supplier projects
• Control costs and payments
• Deliver high technical standards while keeping the customer experience at the forefront

Required profile

• Essential: previous experience in a claims environment, such as insurance property claims
• Strong communicator able to explain complex details clearly and negotiate fair settlements
• Self-motivated, well organised, flexible and open to change
• Enthusiastic about using industry-leading technology

Required skills

• Managing claims across multiple clients
• Excellent communication skills
• Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification is an advantage but not essential
