AI and Innovation Manager

About the role

The AI and Innovation Manager will lead the development and execution of an enterprise‑wide artificial intelligence roadmap. Working closely with knowledge, technology and project teams, you will translate strategic vision into practical AI solutions that streamline legal operations and enhance client value.

Key responsibilities

• Define and champion AI initiatives aligned with business priorities.
• Identify, evaluate and implement AI and legal‑tech tools to improve efficiency.
• Own end‑to‑end project delivery – from vision shaping to user adoption and performance measurement.
• Drive adoption through training, communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop guidance and best‑practice frameworks for responsible AI use.
• Collaborate with legal, knowledge and technology teams to turn business needs into actionable solutions.
• Monitor market trends and surface new AI opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience using AI (including generative) tools in a commercial setting.
• Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
• Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience within a legal or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of legal workflows and project management.
• Data‑driven mindset with comfort using metrics to guide decisions.
• Resilient, proactive attitude and ability to create accessible training material.
