AI Engineer – TypeScript/Node.js & LLMs (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on AI Engineer to join a small, autonomous team that builds AI‑powered solutions for multiple business areas. You will use modern AI tooling, TypeScript/Node.js and AWS to prototype, test and deploy production‑grade systems that solve real business problems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify AI opportunities across the organisation and rapidly prototype solutions.
• Design, develop and deploy production systems using TypeScript, Node.js and AWS.
• Work with large language models, agentic workflows and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation architectures.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate needs into functional AI products.
• Experiment, iterate quickly, and scale successful prototypes.

Required profile

• Strong engineering experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven experience building and deploying production systems on AWS.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs, agentic workflows and RAG architectures.
• Curiosity for emerging AI technologies and ability to work in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving mindset.
