AI Engineer with Agentic Experience

About the role

Luxoft is developing an AI‑driven solution to generate investment insights from sales and research materials. The role focuses on building advanced Agentic AI capabilities to accelerate client meeting preparation and enhance insight quality.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to translate new requirements into system changes.
• Design, develop, and unit‑test functional enhancements, conduct code and design reviews, and identify refactoring opportunities.
• Contribute to development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous improvement of the team’s practices.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, strong backend expertise in Python, and a track record of clean, maintainable production code.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both business and technical audiences and produce clear design documentation.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, technical thought leadership, and a proactive ownership mindset across the software development lifecycle.

Required skills

• Python (backend development)
• FastAPI and OpenAPI/Swagger for API design and documentation
• AWS cloud services (including serverless, eventing, queues, monitoring, secrets)
• Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools
• Generative AI and ML, including vector databases, RAG patterns, and LLM integration (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Prompt engineering, safety guardrails, and cost/performance tuning
• Familiarity with AgentCore, AWS Neptune, Amazon API Gateway
• React with TypeScript for frontend UI development
• Understanding of event‑driven architectures
