AI Governance Partner

About the role

Join a leading aviation client as an AI Governance Partner, supporting the AI Governance Lead in establishing safe, ethical, and compliant AI practices across the organisation. This six‑month contract offers the chance to work closely with data scientists, technology teams, and legal functions to embed AI governance throughout the business.

Key responsibilities

• Engage daily with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure they understand and meet AI governance responsibilities.
• Manage the end‑to‑end AI Governance Risk Assessment process, acting as the primary contact for business units submitting use cases.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline risk assessments while maintaining rigor.
• Produce monthly reports on governance activity, including submission trends and risk outcomes.
• Support the rollout and embedding of the AI Governance Framework across the group.
• Assist in designing and delivering AI governance training and awareness programmes.
• Contribute to policy development, horizon scanning of regulations, and emerging AI risks.

Required profile

• Exceptional stakeholder management with the ability to influence without authority.
• Proven experience assessing high volumes of AI governance risk assessments and understanding relevant risk frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing and presenting to senior leaders.
• Strong knowledge of AI technologies, ethical considerations, and the evolving regulatory landscape.
• Highly organised, collaborative, and able to work across diverse teams.
