AI Platform Engineer

About the role

The AI Platform Engineer will lead the development of foundational AI capabilities that enable AI‑powered workflows, engineering copilots, knowledge discovery, and autonomous agents across the ATLAS ecosystem. You will design and implement the AI platform, integrating Large Language Models, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, knowledge‑graph technologies and machine‑learning inference into Motion Applied products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate secure, scalable AI platforms and services.
• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI platform development, from architecture through deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate, integrate and manage Large Language Models, embeddings, vector databases and AI infrastructure components.
• Support the development of AI‑powered copilots, assistants and autonomous agents.
• Implement monitoring, evaluation, auditability and safety frameworks for AI systems.

Required profile

• Experience building platforms and AI gateways in production.
• Experience building APIs, backend services and platform infrastructure.
• Hands‑on work with Docker containers, security‑focused architecture and multi‑provider cloud integrations.
• Familiarity with MLOps, model onboarding, compute orchestration and large‑scale AI infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with additional programming languages.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, observability, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
