Air Cargo Operations Coordinator – Airport Operations

About the role

SF Express (Europe) is seeking an experienced Air Cargo Operations Coordinator to support its growing airport and cargo terminal operations at East Midlands Airport. The role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on experience in air cargo, warehouse operations, freight forwarding, or airport terminal environments who thrive in a fast‑paced, operational setting.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day cargo terminal and warehouse activities.
• Liaise with airlines, cargo terminals, transport providers, customs brokers, and warehouse partners.
• Support cargo collection, screening, shipment handling, and related operational processes.
• Monitor shipment movements and resolve issues such as delays or discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate completion of operational documentation and system updates.
• Maintain strong working relationships with airport operational partners and local teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in air cargo, freight forwarding, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with airport cargo terminal procedures (highly desirable).
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Flexibility to work in a shift‑based operational environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and proactively manage operational issues.
• Basic to intermediate English communication skills.
