Air Conditioning Engineer – Commercial & Industrial

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to join Corin Dudley Electrical Services Ltd in Eastbourne. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing air‑conditioning systems across commercial and industrial sites, ensuring reliable climate control for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and repair a wide range of air‑conditioning units in line with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Carry out routine maintenance to keep systems operating efficiently.
• Diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals, and perform necessary repairs or part replacements.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to support installation and refurbishment projects.
• Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or refurbishments involving HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used and system conditions.

Required profile

• Proven mechanical knowledge and experience with air‑conditioning equipment.
• Strong understanding of schematics, technical manuals and system diagrams.
• Experience with HVAC maintenance in residential, commercial or industrial settings.
• Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or HVAC technology.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a fast‑paced team while adhering to health and safety regulations.
