Air Conditioning Engineer – Facilities Management

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing facilities management company for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their London engineering team. The role involves working independently on a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, delivering installations, maintenance and reactive repairs while upholding high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Install a variety of air‑conditioning systems across commercial sites.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
• Service and maintain a wide range of cooling equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform reactive repairs.
• Commission new installations where required.
• Complete accurate job reports using a PDA or mobile device.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety legislation and industry regulations.
• Provide professional, customer‑focused service at all times.

Required profile

• Proven experience in air‑conditioning installations, PPM, servicing and reactive repairs.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• F‑Gas Category 1 certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of split, multi‑split, VRV/VRF commercial systems.
