Air Conditioning Engineer (HVAC Service Engineer)

About the role

A leading HVAC organisation is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to provide planned and reactive engineering support to customers across the Herefordshire region. The post is full-time and permanent, with a salary of £50,000 to £52,000 and a company van.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, repairs and fault finding
• Commission and service HVAC and air conditioning equipment
• Work on VRV, VRF, chillers, split and close control systems
• Attend reactive call-outs and emergency breakdowns
• Complete risk assessments and maintain high health and safety standards
• Identify additional service opportunities on customer sites
• Support apprentices and junior engineers where required

Required profile

• C&G 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• F-Gas qualification
• Strong experience in HVAC/Air Conditioning service and maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable working independently across customer sites
