Air Conditioning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client’s technical team, delivering installation, service and maintenance of HVAC solutions across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. The role is hands‑on, requiring independent work as well as close collaboration with other engineers to ensure projects are completed safely and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain air‑conditioning, refrigeration and ducted systems for commercial and industrial customers.
• Perform routine inspections and emergency repairs, adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Travel door‑to‑door using a company van and ensure all work is documented accurately.
• Utilise specialist tools provided by the company and comply with overtime policies when required.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience in air‑conditioning and refrigeration engineering.
• F‑GAS Certification 2079 – Level 1 and Level 2.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
