Air Conditioning Service Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a leading air‑conditioning and refrigeration contractor serving the London and Home Counties area. The role involves delivering service, maintenance and breakdown support for a wide range of commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, routine maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration units, cold rooms, walk‑in fridges, freezers, ice machines, cellar coolers and bottle fridges.
• Install, service and troubleshoot split, multi‑split and VRF/VRV air‑conditioning systems.
• Cover locations in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and occasionally north London.
• Work with clients such as hotels, bars, restaurants, commercial enterprises and care homes.

Required profile

• Proven experience with air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Residence in or around Cambridgeshire preferred.
• Valid F‑Gas certification; IPAF and PASMA certifications are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel door‑to‑door and hold full UK work eligibility.

• Air‑conditioning system installation and maintenance.

• VRF/VRV and split‑system knowledge.
• F‑Gas certification.
• IPAF forklift operation.
• PASMA ladder safety.
