Air Export Clerk – 4 on / 4 off shift

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Air Export Clerk to manage air export shipments from collection through to final departure. You will work within a leading global logistics provider, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments from collection to final departure.
• Book cargo with airlines and manage shipment schedules.
• Prepare and process export documentation, including MAWBs, B2B and consolidation shipments.
• Complete accurate export customs declarations in line with HMRC regulations.
• Follow customer SOPs and maintain high service standards.
• Provide customers with regular shipment updates.
• Liaise with airlines, suppliers, customs authorities and internal teams.
• Manage shipments with both operational and financial accountability.

Required profile

• Previous experience in air export operations and freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of export documentation and customs procedures.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and customer‑service focus.
• Good IT proficiency, especially with freight forwarding systems.
