Air Exports Operator – 4 on 4 off Late Shift

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Air Exports Operator to join our team on a 4‑on, 4‑off late shift (11:30‑23:30). The role involves managing air export shipments from booking through departure, ensuring accurate documentation and high‑level customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments, arrange collections and liaise with suppliers and hauliers.
• Book cargo with airlines, monitor flight schedules and ensure timely departures.
• Prepare and process export documentation, including MAWBs, HAWBs, consolidation and direct shipments.
• Complete UK export customs declarations in line with HMRC regulations.
• Provide regular shipment updates to customers and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate operational and financial records and ensure compliance with company and industry procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in air export freight forwarding.
• Strong understanding of UK export documentation and customs procedures.
• Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure and prioritise multiple shipments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
