Air Freight Import Coordinator – Feltham

About the role

Our client, a well‑established freight forwarding company in Feltham, is looking for an experienced Air Freight Import Coordinator. You will manage inbound air shipments and gain exposure to sea, road, export and courier operations within a multimodal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end air freight import shipments, liaising with customers, overseas agents, airlines and transport providers.
• Prepare and process all required import documentation accurately and on time.
• Provide occasional support to sea freight and export teams when needed.
• Assist with local collections and deliveries during driver annual leave, covering small package movements to courier depots near Heathrow.
• Develop knowledge across all transport modes to support the wider multimodal operation.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience handling air freight imports.
• Knowledge of sea freight is advantageous; export experience is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop across all areas of multimodal freight forwarding.
• Resident within a reasonable commuting distance of Feltham.
• Full UK driving licence (essential) for occasional local driving duties.
• Hands‑on, flexible approach with a team‑oriented mindset.
