Air Import Clerk

About the role
Freightserve is seeking an experienced Air Import Clerk to join its niche freight forwarding team in Colnbrook. You will manage the full air import process, ensuring smooth customs clearance and effective communication with partners and customers.
Key responsibilities
- Handle air imports from start to finish
- Complete import customs entries
- Liaise with airlines, handling agents and transporters
- Maintain internal and external communications
- Interact with customers via email and telephone
- Prepare and process invoices
- Update internal systems
- Assist with export tasks when required
Required profile
- Minimum three years’ experience in import operations
- Strong knowledge of HMRC procedures, including ETSF
- In‑depth understanding of customs entry processes
