Air Import Specialist – Heathrow

About the role

Freightserve is seeking experienced air import professionals to join well‑established freight forwarders in the Heathrow area. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of air import shipments while delivering top‑level customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all air import duties from start to finish.
• Process customs clearances for inbound shipments.
• Provide high‑quality customer service and act as the main point of contact for clients.
• Manage airline bookings and prepare accurate quotations.
• Liaise with overseas offices and agents to ensure smooth operations.
• Work under pressure and multitask across multiple shipments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in air import or freight forwarding.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including day, night or 4‑on‑4‑off patterns.
