Air Source Heat Pump Engineer

About the role

Aura is expanding its Operations and Delivery team and seeks an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Engineer to install, commission, service and troubleshoot ASHP systems for domestic and commercial projects across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Install Air Source Heat Pump systems, including all hydraulic and plumbing work.
• Commission and optimise heat pump performance to meet manufacturer and MCS standards.
• Provide service, maintenance and fault diagnosis for installed units.
• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments.
• Prepare and complete installation and commissioning documentation.
• Support customer handovers and deliver technical guidance.
• Liaise with design, operations and project management teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for technical issues and warranty support.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing and commissioning Air Source Heat Pumps.
• Strong plumbing and heating background.
• Experience with manufacturers such as Vaillant, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Samsung or NIBE.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults.
• Good understanding of domestic heating, controls and hot‑water systems.
• Knowledge of MCS standards and renewable heating technologies.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.
