Airfares Ticketing Manager

About the role

We have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Ticketing Manager from a Tour Operator background to join an established, successful travel company. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the Fares & Ticketing department, ensuring the team completes all processes and tasks within required deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day ticketing operations, maintaining accuracy, efficiency and service standards.
• Manage ticketing queues including schedule changes, web, native, general and re‑issues to meet deadlines.
• Monitor automated ticketing processes, resolve ticket match failures and ensure workflow accuracy.
• Coordinate booking amendments arising from airline schedule changes, including flights, hotels and transfers.
• Monitor fare, fuel and tax increases, informing agents and clients and meeting deadlines.
• Support BSP ticket audits, airline refunds, E‑tracker processing and dispute ADMs where necessary.
• Liaise with reservations teams, online partners and scripting providers on fare queries, fare loading and GDS updates (Amadeus/Galileo).
• Provide out‑of‑hours support on a rota basis and assist with crisis management during airline disruptions.

Required profile

• Solid hands‑on experience managing a ticketing team for a tour operator.
• Experience ticketing and re‑issuing for multiple airlines.
• Strong knowledge of native GDS Amadeus and/or Galileo.
• Full right to work in the United Kingdom.
