Airfreight Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Air Operator to join our client’s logistics team in Ashford. The role involves managing air freight operations from quotation through to delivery, with occasional exposure to ocean freight processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue freight quotes for air and ocean shipments.
• Complete all required documentation, including customs entries using ASM Sequoia.
• Coordinate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Maintain accurate records in the Boxtop system (experience beneficial but not essential).
• Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues that arise during transit.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Air Operator, preferably with some ocean freight exposure.
• Strong knowledge of import and export regulations.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end freight processes independently.
• Comfortable working full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑17:30.

Required skills

• ASM Sequoia (customs entry system).
• Boxtop freight management system (beneficial).
