AM2 Assessor – Electrical Assessment Role

About the role

The AM2 Assessor will deliver practical assessments for candidates undertaking the AM2 qualification at the college’s approved centre. You will ensure each assessment is carried out in line with industry standards and awarding body requirements, providing a fair and consistent experience for future electrical professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct AM2 practical assessments for candidates on scheduled days.
• Apply industry standards and awarding organisation criteria to evaluate performance.
• Record assessment outcomes and issue appropriate grades.
• Maintain assessment equipment and ensure a safe testing environment.
• Collaborate with college staff to schedule assessments and support candidates.

Required profile

• Relevant electrical industry knowledge and strong practical skills.
• Commitment to supporting and assessing the next generation of electricians.
• Willingness to undergo full training and an enhanced DBS check.
• Alignment with the college’s safeguarding, Prevent and inclusion policies.
