Ambient Selector – Stock Picking

About the role

You will work in Aldi's ambient warehouse, picking stock for specific stores and loading it onto the correct pallets for our drivers. Instructions are delivered through a headset, so you must stay alert and follow store numbers and paperwork accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Pick a range of ambient products, from tinned foods to health and beauty items, according to store allocations.
• Load selected items onto pallets, ensuring the right pallets are prepared for each store.
• Verify that all paperwork, including store numbers and pick lists, is correct before dispatch.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment in the ambient area.
• Communicate effectively via headset to receive and confirm instructions.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under time pressure.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking and lifting throughout a shift.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues.
