About the Role

Join Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital as an Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner (ODP), where you will play a critical role in patient safety and surgical excellence. We are looking for a vigilant, meticulous, and empathetic professional to join our high-performing clinical team in a flexible 'bank' capacity.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with consultants, anaesthetists, and surgical teams to ensure the safe administration of anaesthetics.
• Provide continuous monitoring of patient vital signs during surgical interventions.
• Maintain a strictly sterile environment and adhere to all clinical safety protocols.
• Supervise and support the professional development of junior staff members.
• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and clinically effective patient care.

Candidate Profile

• Fully registered with the appropriate regulatory body (NMC or HCPC).
• Proven experience in anaesthetic practice within a theatre environment.
• Strong ability to remain focused and calm under pressure.
• Exceptional teamwork skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence and safety.
