Analyst – Advisory & Financing Group

About the role

The Advisory & Financing Group within Société Générale’s Investment Banking Division is seeking an Analyst to support acquisition finance, credit and ESG rating advisory mandates for corporate clients based in London. You will work closely with coverage teams and corporate finance to deliver integrated debt‑structuring and capital‑structure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and execute acquisition‑finance and ESG‑rating advisory mandates for mid‑ to large‑cap corporates.
• Provide debt‑structuring, capital‑structure and rating advisory solutions in collaboration with coverage and corporate finance.
• Pitch targeted clients alongside GBIS business lines to generate new mandates.
• Prepare and deliver multi‑product pitch materials and structured marketing plans.
• Produce accurate financial models and marketing collateral to support client engagements.
• Represent the Advisory & Financing Group in internal discussions to align advisory services with client needs.

Required profile

• Experience in corporate finance, acquisition finance, or ESG rating advisory.
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in building financial models.
• Ability to work collaboratively with coverage, corporate finance, and internal stakeholders.
