About the role
We're working with a fast-moving, product-led business looking for an Analytics Engineer to support their data team on an initial six-month contract. The role sits between data engineering and analytics, building clean, reliable DBT-based data models that power reporting and decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Own and resolve pipeline failures.
- Build new data marts for the BI team.
- Improve performance of the existing data layer for BI analysis.
- Migrate business semantic logic from Tableau into the DBT project to enhance performance and architecture.
Required profile
- Strong hands-on DBT experience, including testing strategy, packages and best practices.
- Experience with BigQuery or Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of data modelling and warehousing concepts.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Tableau performance optimisation and self-serve tooling.
