Analytics Manager – Google Analytics (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Analytics Manager to join our fast‑growing analytics agency in Manchester. You will work closely with two of the UK’s most experienced Google Marketing Platform practitioners, shaping measurement strategies for a diverse client portfolio while operating in a dynamic scale‑up environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with clients to define and develop measurement strategies.
• Conduct analytics audits and deliver full GA4 configurations.
• Design and implement dataLayer schemas in collaboration with client developers.
• Configure GA4 across tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager and Tealium.
• Own client relationships, acting as a strategic partner rather than a supplier.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in web analytics and data activation.
• Lead and mentor a small delivery team, taking on line‑management duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Google Analytics 4 at an expert level.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Tag Manager.
• Broad experience across the Google Marketing Platform (BigQuery, Looker Studio, DV360, SA360).
• Proven track record delivering technically complex analytics projects across multiple industries.
• Experience managing or mentoring a team.
• Self‑starter mindset with a passion for delivering client excellence.

What we offer

• Up to £70,000 basic salary, dependent on experience.
