Anaplan Modeller - Finance

About the role

Everywhen, the UK-based broking and advisory arm of the Ardonagh Group, is looking for an experienced Anaplan Modeller to develop and evolve its Anaplan estate. The role sits at the heart of financial planning, delivering scalable solutions that improve forecasting, planning and reporting across the business. It is based at Bristol-Minton House on a hybrid basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance Anaplan models supporting planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance management in Finance.
• Lead end-to-end model development, making sure solutions are scalable, efficient and aligned to business priorities.
• Translate business requirements into practical Anaplan solutions and partner with FP&A, Finance and other teams on process improvement and automation.
• Manage model governance: documentation, naming standards, role-based access controls and change management.
• Maintain and upgrade existing models, and own data integrations between Anaplan and connected finance systems.
• Monitor model performance and data quality, and support reporting and dashboard solutions, including with Power BI.
• Deliver user support and training, and drive continuous improvement in planning and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years' hands-on experience building Anaplan models.
• Anaplan Level 2 certification (minimum requirement).
• Finance, FP&A or Financial Services experience is advantageous.
• Natural problem solver, highly organised, comfortable with multiple priorities and a delivery-focused approach.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of model governance, controls and best practices.
• Power BI or other reporting tools.
• Data integrations, APIs, ETL tools or Anaplan Data Orchestration.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
