About the role

We are an AI start‑up operating in stealth and looking for an experienced Android Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will help build innovative mobile applications for a large user base, integrating intelligent platform capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build and enhance mobile features that leverage advanced data and automation capabilities.
• Create intuitive, responsive user experiences across various mobile workflows.
• Integrate external services and APIs (REST, gRPC) into the application ecosystem.
• Optimise application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement monitoring, analytics, and diagnostic tooling.
• Collaborate closely with product, backend, and engineering teams to deliver new functionality.
• Support application security, testing, and production stability.

Required profile

• Commercial Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture and best practices.
• Experience delivering and supporting production Android apps on Google Play.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Background in agile development environments.
