Android Developer – Health & Wellbeing Startup (Hybrid)

About the role

Join an innovative health and wellbeing tech startup building a next‑generation wellness platform from the ground up. As an Android Developer you will shape a flagship Android application, working with AI‑driven, privacy‑first features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a native Android app using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Integrate shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules for business logic and data handling.
• Implement on‑device machine‑learning features for personalised experiences.
• Build integrations with Google Fit and Health Connect to capture wearable data.
• Collaborate with design to deliver accessible, polished Material Design UI.
• Optimise performance across devices, screen sizes and Android versions.
• Support Play Store submissions and release management.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Solid understanding of modern Android architecture components and patterns.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with TensorFlow Lite and on‑device ML is a plus.
• Passion for building performant, accessible mobile applications.
• Comfortable in early‑stage environments where ownership and initiative matter.
