Android Developer – Health & Wellbeing Tech Startup

About the role

We are partnering with an ambitious health and wellbeing startup building a next‑generation wellness platform. As an Android Developer you will own the native Android experience from day one, shaping both the product and the engineering culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain a high‑quality Android app using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Integrate Kotlin Multiplatform modules for shared business logic and data.
• Implement on‑device machine‑learning features with TensorFlow Lite to deliver personalised experiences.
• Build integrations with Google Fit and Health Connect.
• Collaborate with design to create accessible Material Design UI.
• Optimise performance across devices, screen sizes and Android versions.
• Support Play Store releases and ongoing delivery.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience developing Android applications with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Solid understanding of modern Android architecture and components.
• Comfortable working in an early‑stage, fast‑moving environment.
• Industry experience in health or wellness tech is a plus.
