About the role
DICE is looking for an Android Engineer to join its Product team and shape the fan experience on Android. Working remotely within the UK timezone, you will help build and evolve a high‑performing app that connects music lovers with live events.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and extend existing Android app functionality.
- Design, develop, and trial new features that enhance fan engagement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional squads to solve technical challenges.
- Contribute to product direction and roadmap decisions.
- Ensure high‑quality code and ownership of production outcomes.
Required profile
- Passionate about music, culture, and building impactful products.
- Ownership‑driven with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Self‑motivated and able to work in an ad‑hoc, remote environment.
Required skills
- Kotlin
- MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns
- Coroutines
- Jetpack libraries (Room, WorkManager, Compose)
- Retrofit
- Hilt for dependency injection
- Experience with Android SDK 29+
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Bitrise, Slack, Figma, Notion
