Anti‑Social Behaviour & Enforcement Officer (Housing)

About the role

This temporary (3‑6 months) position supports a large housing association in the South West, helping to create safe and welcoming neighbourhoods. Working hybrid across Devon, Somerset and Bristol, you will manage anti‑social behaviour and related incidents while collaborating with partners such as police and local authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and manage anti‑social behaviour, hate crime and harassment cases.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with police, local authorities and community groups.
• Gather evidence, prepare legal documentation and present cases in court.
• Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and residents to ensure consistent enforcement.
• Monitor and improve customer satisfaction and service delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in social housing or a related field, preferably focusing on anti‑social behaviour.
• Proven ability to handle challenging behaviour and resolve conflicts with partner agencies.
• Familiarity with court procedures, litigation and legal casework.
• Knowledge of social housing policy, landlord‑tenant legislation, and ASB‑related legislation.
• Flexible approach to working hours and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.

Required skills

• Understanding of anti‑social behaviour, hate incident and domestic abuse legislation.
• Knowledge of quality‑management best practices.
