AOG Export & Import Freight Operator

About the role

Freightserve is seeking experienced AOG Export and Import operators to manage aircraft‑on‑ground shipments from start to finish. The role is based at the Heathrow hub and involves handling both outbound and inbound freight in a fast‑moving, specialist environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dispatch export consignments, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company policies.
• Complete Master Air Waybills (MAWB) and House Air Waybills (HAWB) and process NES customs entries for exports.
• Issue consignment security letters and lodge airline paperwork.
• Handle telephone enquiries from internal and external departments efficiently.
• Process import customs entries and liaise with airlines, GSAs and handling agents.
• Coordinate with overseas agents for both export and import shipments.
• Work across all shifts and hours as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in AOG freight handling, export and import processes.
• Strong knowledge of customs entry procedures and air freight documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for dealing with agents and internal teams.
