AOG Export Operator – Time‑Critical Freight Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AOG Export Operator to join our award‑winning freight forwarding team in the Heathrow area. You will be responsible for managing urgent, time‑critical shipments from collection through to final delivery, ensuring customers receive accurate updates and solutions when every minute counts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AOG and other time‑critical shipments from start to finish.
• Coordinate urgent collections, airline bookings and final deliveries.
• Liaise with airlines, transport providers, overseas agents and customers.
• Monitor shipments proactively and resolve operational issues quickly.
• Provide regular shipment updates and meet service level agreements.
• Prepare export documentation and customs paperwork where required.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth movement of urgent freight.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.

Required profile

• Previous experience in air freight operations, preferably AOG or time‑critical freight.
• Strong understanding of air export procedures and freight forwarding processes.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
