AP Assistant – Arabic Speaking

About the role

This position is an Accounts Payable (AP) Assistant role for a sports and entertainment agency operating globally. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will support the finance team by handling supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations while communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process multicurrency invoices and expenses, ensuring correct tax inputs.
• Post invoices accurately in line with company policy.
• Reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts and corporate credit cards.
• Prepare and execute supplier payments and bank guarantees.
• Maintain purchase orders, set up new vendors and perform vendor checks.
• Assist with month‑end close and ad‑hoc accounts payable queries.
• Handle staff and credit‑card expense processing.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work.
• Positive attitude, adaptable to a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Sage Intact accounting system.
