Application Developer – AI Squad (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are looking for motivated graduates or early‑career developers to join our AI Squad within the Development Team. You will work on real RLAM software products, gaining hands‑on experience with AI, generative models and cloud‑based integration while collaborating with senior engineers and data specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test new features for RLAM applications using modern engineering practices.
• Build and experiment with generative AI models, including prompt engineering, fine‑tuning and safety alignment.
• Integrate AI components into live systems, preparing data and working with cloud services.
• Participate in agile sprints, break down tasks, contribute to documentation and share knowledge.
• Monitor model performance to ensure accuracy, robustness and responsible AI compliance.

Required profile

• First‑Class or 2:1 degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• Recent graduate, MSc or PhD candidate – visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong programming fundamentals and enthusiasm for AI.

Required skills

• Object‑oriented programming in Python or C#.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms and SOLID principles.
• SQL for querying and manipulating structured data.
• Experience with REST APIs and OpenAPI standards.
• Familiarity with machine‑learning libraries such as PyTorch, scikit‑learn, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, XGBoost or NLTK.
• Knowledge of modern AI approaches, including large language models (LLMs) and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG).
