Application Engineer – Tendering & Client Engagement

About the role

We are recruiting an Application Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team delivering high‑quality project solutions and winning new business through effective tendering. The role combines technical engineering work with commercial client‑facing responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit high‑quality technical proposals.
• Manage and track project opportunities using internal systems.
• Build long‑term relationships with contractors and clients.
• Identify new project opportunities and contribute to pipeline growth.
• Support projects throughout the full lifecycle, from tender to completion.
• Monitor forecasts and prioritise high‑value opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in an Applications Engineer or similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and layouts.
• Commercial awareness with a proactive, results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable working independently and within a team.
